This will be the last full length book in the Devon Remembered Series. We are attempting to capture the essence of the North Devon residential neighbourhood in all of its diversity.
The house by house examination of the district will include: Friel Street, Highland Avenue, Hughes Street, Jaffrey Street (#113-167), McKeen Street, Smith Street, St. Mary’s Street (#142-199), Union Street (#300-429 and #513-614).
Our study will also include the Old and New Reserve as well as the Black families of Highland Avenue. The two churches that are part of this book are the Advent Church and St. Anthony’s Church.
