PURPOSE:
This seminar is to teach the participants how to handle dogs. It is not a training class for the dog.  It is therefore important that the dog be at least one year (1) old and well behaved.  A participant may alternate a maximum of two (2) dogs if they wish.  Mr. Vroom will work with each class at a time during which time the other class will observe.   Each participant should wear appropriate rubber sole shoes; have a show lead; and bring a pencil and paper for taking notes.  The seminar will be held on the arena floor, so participants are required to bring their own chair and dress appropriate to the environment.
COURSE LEVELS:
·        BEGINNERS – LIMITED TO TWENTY (20) PEOPLE
Participant must be 10 years of age or older.  No dog less than one (1) year of age (older and better trained to your advantage).
ADVANCED – LIMITED TO TWENTY (20) PEOPLE
Participant should have handled for five (5) years or at least handled two (2) dogs to their championships.  These handlers do not have to think about their every move.  No dog less than one (1) year of age.
·        OBSERVERS – UNLIMITED
CREDENTIALS:
Mr. Vroom has had over 750 Best in Shows – over 4000 Group 1’s.  He has handled four Quaker Oats winners and seven Garden Group winners.  He has handled three dogs to Top Dog All-Breeds. He was Voted Fido Dog Handler of the Year two times and Kennel Review Dog Handler of the Year two times.
